Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, Viktoriya Mozgachyova, a coordination meeting on the implementation of state policy in the religious sphere and the strengthening of interethnic relations was held in the capital.
The meeting was attended by Kanatbek Midin uulu, Deputy Chairman of the National Agency for Religious and Interethnic Relations under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, deputies of the heads of all four districts of the capital, representatives of the structural divisions of the Bishkek City Hall, district administrations, the Internal Affairs Department, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Department of Education, the Municipal Inspection, the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, and other relevant services.
During the meeting, information was presented on the implementation of the concept of the “Kyrgyz Citizen” decree, and corresponding instructions for its execution were given.
The Bishkek City Hall carries out systematic work on shaping civic identity, strengthening interethnic harmony, promoting the state language, and preserving cultural heritage. Educational, cultural, and social events are held to foster patriotism, tolerance, and active civic participation.
Participants also discussed the interaction of state bodies with religious organizations, the prevention of extremism, and the strengthening of public harmony in the capital.
Following the meeting, a directive was issued to enhance interdepartmental coordination and continue implementing measures aimed at preserving national unity and tolerance.
