The Bishkek City Hall has allocated funds for repair works and replacement of plumbing in the Social Dormitory.

Additionally, a budget has been set aside for the purchase of soft furnishings and bedding.

The main goals and objectives of the Social Dormitory are:

  • To provide temporary social housing and social support for adaptation and rehabilitation to individuals aged 16 to 23 who are orphans or children left without parental care after leaving educational or other institutions; including social service institutions, foster families, family-type orphanages, and orphans or semi-orphans in difficult life situations aged 18 to 23.

In the Social Dormitory, residents receive psychological support, assistance with career guidance for independent living, and the development and implementation of individual social rehabilitation and integration programs.

The Social Dormitory provides temporary housing for 12 to 24 months and has a capacity of 53 people.

As of today, 37 residents are living in the Social Dormitory (including 30 boys and 7 girls).
