To ensure peace and quiet for citizens in the city of Bishkek, and in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Silence” as well as Articles 44 and 48 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Local State Administration and Local Self-Government Bodies,” the Mayor of Bishkek has issued an official directive.
According to this directive, managers of public catering and cultural-entertainment establishments (including cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, banquet halls, and other facilities) in Bishkek are required to:
- Stop all festive, cultural, and entertainment events by 22:00.
- Ensure that all electrical devices, especially high-power ones (electric stoves, heaters, ovens, etc.), are turned off after 22:00.
- Avoid organizing or holding events accompanied by loud music, lighting, or other actions that disturb public peace after the specified time.
At the same time, the use of electric generators is permitted for facilities located away from residential buildings, provided that all requirements of the Law “On Silence” are strictly observed.
District administrations, together with the municipal inspection, have been tasked with monitoring compliance and conducting regular inspection raids.
