In the capital, another stage of inspections aimed at preventing unjustified increases in meat prices has been completed. These inspections were conducted in accordance with the order of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 14, 2025, as well as the directive of the Bishkek City Hall dated August 15, 2025.

From August 15 to November 11, 2025, the municipal administrations of four districts, together with representatives of municipal territorial administrations, the Municipal Inspectorate, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, the Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, and inspectors of the State Tax Service, conducted a total of 266 inspection activities.

The inspections covered:

  • Major markets: Osh Bazaar, Dordoy Motors, Alamudun, Orto-Sai, etc.;
  • Supermarket chains: Asia, Globus, Narodny, etc.;
  • Stores: Ustukan, Naryn ET, Ogorod, Elet, Et Myaso, Nuriko, etc.

If artificial price increases for meat products are detected, the Antimonopoly Service imposes penalties and fines.
