The mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, participated in the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic and cast his vote at polling station No. 1220 in the capital.
On this day, 296 polling stations are operating in Bishkek, all fully equipped with automated ballot counting machines. The election commission operators have been trained to work with the updated equipment.
The capital has 296 precinct election commissions and 4 electoral districts. Of these, 233 stations belong to city districts, and 63 stations are in the Chuy region districts (Alamudun, Issyk-Ata, and Sokuluk). Organizational and technical support for all 296 stations is provided by the Bishkek city administration.
To increase accessibility for voters, the Central Election Commission opened 11 remote voting stations at the following locations:
- Osh Bazaar – 1 station
- Asia Mall – 1 station
- Manas International Airport – 2 stations
- Dordoi Market – 2 stations
- Alamedin Market – 1 station
- Dordoi Plaza Complex – 1 station
- Bishkek Park Mall – 1 station
- National Hospital (1200 beds) – 1 station
- Orto-Sai Market – 1 station
