The Director of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture, and Sports, Kazybek Moldazhiev, visited the R. Sanatbaev Sports School. After the opening ceremony of the international “Manas” tournament, the Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, Viktoria Mozgacheva, conducted a guided tour of the school grounds and acquainted him with the institution’s facilities and equipment.

During the visit, Viktoria Mozgacheva noted that the Bishkek city administration consistently supports the sports sector by providing sports halls for international tournaments, national championships of Kyrgyzstan, as well as for taekwondo and Greco-Roman wrestling competitions among the younger generation. She emphasized that classes for children at the school are free of charge, making sports accessible and creating conditions for preparing future professional athletes.

The parties also discussed further cooperation. During the meeting, it was agreed that international tournaments—such as the “Manas” U-20, as well as other competitions in the U-15, U-16, U-17, U-20 categories and the national championships of Kyrgyzstan—will continue to be held jointly with the organizational support of the Bishkek city administration and the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture, and Sports.

Additionally, further plans were discussed for the development of infrastructure and improvement of conditions for sports training.
