At School No. 47, the Department of Education of Bishkek City Hall held the city-level stages of the contests “Glorifying Manas – Glorifying Kyrgyzstan” and “Staging the Noble Manas.” The event was attended by students who had won prizes in the district rounds and earned the right to present their work at the city level.

The contests aimed to develop students’ research skills, support creative initiatives, and promote the cultural and historical heritage of the Kyrgyz people. Participants demonstrated deep knowledge, creativity, and teamwork skills.

The jury included experts such as Kutmyrza Zhakybaliyev, representative of the National Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic; Nazym Mendebairov, Honored Cultural Figure, director, and actor; and Gulira Moldoisayeva, Chief Specialist of the Department of Education.

The jury highly praised the students’ preparation, noting the relevance of their research topics, stagecraft, and respectful treatment of the Manas epic. Special attention was given to the content of the works and the participants’ ability to convey themes through theatrical performance and artistic expression.

Winners and prizewinners of the city-level stage will be awarded certificates by the Department of Education.

The event served as an important platform for identifying talented students and contributed to the development of the research and creative potential of the younger generation.
