As part of the celebration of the birthday of Chyngyz Aitmatov, an outstanding writer and public figure of Kyrgyzstan, thematic events were held in general education schools of the city of Bishkek, aimed at fostering respect for the country’s cultural and literary heritage.

During the celebrations, students took part in literary competitions and quizzes based on the works of Chyngyz Aitmatov, presented dramatizations of scenes from his well-known books, and discussed key moral and ethical themes reflected in his творчество.

Special attention was given to the development of students’ creative thinking and communication skills. Pupils prepared presentations, participated in discussions, and created their own literary works, demonstrating a deep interest in the writer’s legacy.

The events helped to cultivate in schoolchildren a sense of national identity, respect for the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan, and an understanding of the significance of Chyngyz Aitmatov’s work for contemporary society.

It is also worth noting the active involvement of both students and teachers. Such initiatives inspire the younger generation to study literature and contribute to the development of critical and creative thinking.
