The “Narktuu Kelin” contest was held at the “Ayar” Rehabilitation Center for people with disabilities. Mothers of the center’s residents and staff members took part in the event.

The contest was organized as part of the implementation of the Presidential Decree of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 369 dated December 18, 2024, on the Doctrine (Unguzhol) “National Spirit – Global Heights,” aiming to preserve and develop national traditions, strengthen family values, and enhance the role of women in society.

The competition consisted of six stages. Participants introduced themselves creatively, showcased videos about their families, and demonstrated their talents and skills. The contest also featured the preparation of national dishes and sweets, presentations of traditional costume elements, and role-playing of real-life situations requiring wit and ingenuity.

Performances were evaluated by a judging panel composed of representatives from relevant organizations and members of the parent community.

The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving participants and guests with positive emotions.
