The Capital Construction Department of the Bishkek City Hall is carrying out reconstruction work on the “Government” Fountain.

To date, all reinforcement frameworks for the three basins and three columns have been manufactured. Work is underway on refining the formwork in preparation for subsequent monolithic concrete pouring.

The upper basin has already been poured, while the remaining basins will be poured directly on site. All reinforcement frameworks and formwork are fully prepared.

Currently, sub-concrete work is being carried out, followed by the installation of the framework and reinforcement tying. This month, the plans include backfilling the foundation pit and installing the upper part of the fountain.

It is important to note that the historic part of the fountain has been preserved and transferred for safekeeping to the municipal enterprise “Tazalyk.”
